The Prolays chairlift will be open and accessible to mountain bikers and pedestrians on the ascent only.
This new lift brings to 10 the number of lifts open on the Avoriaz mountain range, and testifies to a genuine policy of diversification in the summer season that Avoriaz has been pursuing for many years.
The Prolays chairlift will double as the Lindarets chairlift, linking the Lindarets plateau to the Crête of the same name. Each seat will be equipped with 2 bike racks, offering a transport capacity of 650 mountain bikes per hour, compared with 450 mountain bikes per hour previously on the Lindarets chairlift, i.e. an increase in throughput of almost 35%.
The Lindarets chairlift will remain open, but will be dedicated exclusively to pedestrian transport.
