Skiing in Avoriaz also means enjoying the highest altitude and longest season in the vast Portes du Soleil area (12 French and Swiss resorts linked by over 200 lifts).

The Avoriaz ski area offers remarkable diversity, both in the difficulty of the runs and in the landscapes that surround them: vast immaculate expanses beneath the Hauts-Forts peaks, fir forests to explore at Les Lindarets, undulating playgrounds on the slopes of Le Fornet, picturesque paths between the alpine chalets at Les Lindarets or Le Crôt.

The 4 snowparks that make the resort so unique, each with its own personality: La Chapelle, the compact snowpark in the resort center; Stash, the snowpark that combines freeride and freestyle with its eco-friendly wooden modules; Lil’Stash, a more accessible version of Stash with its famous tree houses; Arare, the legendary park for experienced riders.
For freeride enthusiasts, the Avoriaz ski area offers 4 Snowcrosses, ungroomed pistes that are marked, secured and patrolled by ski patrollers.
For several years now, there have also been ski touring itineraries.
And because conviviality is an integral part of the experience, you’ll find picnic areas with self-service barbecues and a picnic room on the ski area.
