At an altitude of 1,800m, Avoriaz is the highest resort in the Portes du Soleil. Its central location is ideal for exploring this vast ski area, which links 12 resorts between France and Switzerland.

To get started with skiing and snowboarding, Avoriaz has :
• 3 beginner areas (Lindarets sector, Super Morzine sector, Plateau sector). Warning: the Lindarets sector isn't linked to other sectors.
• 11 ski lifts accessible with the beginner pass
• 1 fun area, the Lil'Stash
→ To get started, purchase your beginner's pass online here or at the ticket office. Consider the points pass: advantageous for those who use only few lifts (only available at the ticket office)
→ For fun, head to our Lil'Stash fun area using the blue Proclou slope in the Super Morzine sector
→ To move from Lindarets sector to Super-Morzine/Plateau sectors, use the free shuttles (Lines M and A). No ski lift connection is possible with the beginner's pass !
→ To improve and go further, don't hesitate to take ski lessons at our ski schools in Avoriaz
They are the real heroes of the slopes!
→ 55 ski patrol, spread over 5 sectors who ensure the safety of the ski area and rescue missions. Some of them have particular specialisations: fireworker, dog handler, snow and weather.
→ 18 snow groomer drivers, maintain the snow cover to ensure quality skiing.
→ 8 snow producers, guarantee a level of snow throughout the season by producing and maintaining snow guns and snow factories.

For those who want even more, the Avoriaz ski area is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area, which comprises 12 Franco-Swiss resorts linked by ski lifts.
