A Portes du Soleil pass purchased at one of the French resorts in the Portes du Soleil must be used for the first time in France.
If your first entry is in Switzerland, you'll need to pay a surcharge at the Swiss ski lift ticket offices to activate your ski pass.
Children under 5 ride free. Tickets may be picked up only at the ticket office, upon presentation of proof of identity. The child must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
The purchase of the “hands-free” card for 3€ is required when purchasing a ski pass for the first time.
