Avoriaz - Sector Arare

Discover Arare, the snowiest sector of the Avoriaz ski area, perfect for making the most of your ski vacation. Thanks to its high altitude and north-facing slopes, Arare enjoys optimal snow conditions from the start of the season right through to the last days of winter.

This iconic sector offers ski runs for all skill levels: from blue runs perfect for beginners to the famous red run Jean Vuarnet, not to mention the black run Combe du Machon for the most experienced skiers.

Arare is also a true paradise for freestyle and new snow sports enthusiasts, featuring the legendary Nami Park snowpark, the Soba Run boardercross, and the Crozats snowcross.



Avoriaz - Fornet

The Chavanette area, located in the heart of the Avoriaz ski area, offers a 360° panoramic view of the resort, the surrounding peaks, and the iconic mountain ranges on the Swiss side, including the Dents Blanches and the Dents du Midi.

A strategic hub within the Portes du Soleil ski area, Chavanette also provides direct access to Switzerland. Easily reach the Swiss slopes via the Choucas chairlift or the Chavanette ski lift, and enjoy a unique experience on the famous Mur Suisse run, renowned for its spectacular scenery and technical challenges.

Avoriaz - Plateau Sector

In winter, Avoriaz immerses you in a winter wonderland at the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area. Seamlessly integrated into its natural surroundings, the resort stands out for its unique concept as a 100% pedestrian-friendly destination, offering an authentic and exotic experience.

The Plateau area is ideal for beginners to start skiing with complete peace of mind, featuring areas specially designed for beginners. More experienced skiers, meanwhile, can enjoy the La Chapelle snowpark, a space dedicated to freestyle.

Montriond - Lindarets Sector

The Lindarets sector, part of the Avoriaz ski area, is nestled in the town of Montriond. For freestylers and those looking for new ways to hit the slopes, experience the iconic natural snowpark, The Stash.

You’ll also find L’Abricotine, one of the longest runs in the Portes du Soleil. It winds down for nearly 8 km from the ridges marking the border with Switzerland to the base of the Ardent gondola. Along the way, you’ll pass through the famous snow-covered village of Les Lindarets, a charming hamlet of old chalets, perfect for a quick gourmet break on the slopes.

A connection to Chêtel is available via the Chaux-Fleurie chairlift.

Avoriaz - Super Morzine Sector

The Super Morzine area provides a quick connection between the village of Morzine and the Avoriaz ski area via its gondola. Easy to access and suitable for everyone, this area is particularly recommended for beginners, with wide, accessible slopes that are ideal for learning and improving with confidence.

In the heart of the Proclou Forest, discover Lil’Stash, a fun, natural mini snowpark designed for children and beginner skiers looking to try their hand at freestyle.

The Super Morzine sector also offers an authentic experience at the Séraussaix Farm, where you can enjoy a tour and sample local products in a traditional Alpine setting.
