Please find below the measures applying from 2021/2022 winter season :


For our staff :

Reinforced hygiene in common areas

  • Physical distancing rules
  • Protection supply adapted to the work (mask, visors, protective glass, alcoholic gel …) 
  • Compulsory wearing of mask, as per regulation
  • Specific training and internal information 
  • Improved hygiene in closed spaces
  • Identification procedure and  follow up on contacts established


For our guests :

  • Social distansing into the queues  people or groups of people travelling together
  • Wearing a mask is compulsory in all closed ski lifts (cable car and gondola lifts)  > see details in the table below. Wearing a mask is not required while skiing. Skiers are required to wear a surgical mask or a category 1 fabric mask (AFNOR SPEC S76-001 certification). Concerning neck gaiters, only those that are filtering and certified will be allowed as an alternative to masks. Very practical for skiing, it can be put on and taken off in a few seconds. SERMA sells Avoriaz branded approved neck gaiters at its ticket offices (€10)
  • Availibility of alcoholic gel at relevant locations
  • Daily sanitization of toilets, and public spaces. 
  • Information on the ski resort and the communication tools.

Wearing a mask is compulsory

  • in all closed environnements (cable car, gondola lifts and interior waiting lines)


Wearing a mask is recommanded

  • in exterior wainting lines if there are a lot of people


Wearing a mask is not compulsory

  • in chairlifts and draglifts
16-18 years
> 18 years
